Indulge my Hustle.

I'm struggling to find new ways to improve my financial situation. I even signed up with a few affiliate programs with some major retailers. So far I haven't gotten much patronage but I hope to gain some patronage from readers of my blog.

Since Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are approaching, I would like to ask those of you reading my blog to browse through by Checking my site below for links to My Pleasure.com, Amazon.com, and Ebay.com.

It's very frustrating to have a degree from an accredited university and not be able to find a stable job, that is able to provide income that will allow me to live atleast semi comfortably. It's always a struggle. I'm started to wonder if I am destined for failure. To always be a lackey, a grunt, a doormat. I wonder how others in my situation are able to make ends meet. They are able to sell their services, work as a contractor for companies like Avon.com, Mary Kay and they are able to make it work. Here I sit...struggling just to get fare for mass transit.

I think there needs to be a course in colleges for students going in to college and those coming out of college. The course should be called Hustle 101. This course should provide students with legal, effective ways to increase a persons income. People don't tell you how difficult it is getting out into the world and trying to make it on your own. Year by year the cost of living increases. Minimum wage isn't enough to cover the costs of living day to day.

Sooner or later I'm gonna get this right and be able to provide for myself better. I'm keeping my head up.

I can relate to some of your posts, found you on accident while searching google. I am 32, a teacher, single and often lonely too. And I am also struggling in life's purpose. I wonder where my life is heading and if I should move--I'm looking hard at England. Btw, you sound strong and you are far too hard on yourself. What do you teach? I taught K-2 and Reading Recovery, but now teach ESOL for K-5. Would be happy to chat if you care to. I'm the only Gretchen Locker (I assume)on facebook, so that's where you can find me. Hope your job situation improves. A lot of great teachers are struggling for work here in NC. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
